Students at the post-secondary level and professionals across the Caribbean have been benefiting from a partnership between World Education Services® (WES®) and the Caribbean Examinations Council® (CXC®). For more than 45 years, WES® has offered credential evaluation and advisory services to international students and professionals who wish to study or work in the United States and Canada.

Prior to the arrangement, students would have to apply for a transcript from CXC® and request that it be physically delivered to WES® for evaluation. Under the terms of the new arrangement, CXC® has created a dedicated web portal on the CXC® website (devcxcedu.wpengine.com/product/wes-transcript/) where candidates can request that their CXC® transcript be delivered digitally to the WES centre of their choice quickly and securely.

The benefits include reduced cost to candidates (due to the elimination of courier fees), and a much faster delivery time since CXC® transcripts will now be sent digitally. This initiative represents one of the activities that the Council will engage in to offer increased value to our stakeholders while assisting CXC’s transition to an e-focused regional enterprise.
