“On behalf of the Chairman, management and staff of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®), I extend sincere condolences on the passing of the Honourable Mr Justice (ret) Duke Pollard. The late Honourable Mr Justice Duke Pollard provided valuable service to CXC® and contributed to the regional, legislative landscape.

While serving with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), he was instrumental in drafting legal documents on the Protocol on Privileges and Immunities of CXC®, granted by Participating Governments. His knowledge and wise counsel were also brought to bear on our Agreements with the governments of Jamaica and for the establishment of our Headquarters in Barbados.

We wish to acknowledge our appreciation and extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family, colleagues, Guyana and the Caribbean Community.”
