CXC collaborated with the Barbados National Council of Parent Teacher Associations (BNCPTA) to host a “Moving Up” workshop for secondary school students entering 4th Form on Saturday 13 August at CXC’s Headquarters. The “Moving Up” workshop was designed to help students (and their parents) understand what is required of them as they prepare for the demands of upper secondary school, taking CSEC examinations, pursuing career goals, and balancing their time between studying and other activities.

Ms Andrea Austin, Assistant Registrar – Marketing at CXC presented a session entitled “Moving Up to Exams and Career Planning.”

Due to the overwhelming response and oversubscription to the first workshop on 13 August, a second workshop was held on Saturday 27 August at CXC Headquarters.
