Two vacancies at the Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division (SCD) at the Western Zone Office in Jamaica were recently filled. Mr Howard Campbell, a long-time CXC resource person was appointed Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR) in the Syllabus and Curriculum Division effective 1 May 2016.

Mr Campbell holds a Master of Science Degree in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Bachelor of Science in Computing with Management from the University of Technology, Jamaica. He is a certified Level IV NVQJ/VTDI Assessor and is also an IT consultant who has worked on several regional and international projects.

Mrs Norlette Leslie-Yearde has accepted a one-year assignment, on secondment, to the position of Assistant Registrar in the SCD effective 9 June. Mrs Leslie-Yearde holds a Master of Education in Curriculum Development (with Distinction) and Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (First Class Honours) from The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She has more than 12 years teaching experience at the primary and tertiary levels.
